Description

The TCS Medusa paly is a very unusual polyp morph that occurred while the coral was held within a captive system. The palythoa tentacles extended to extraordinary lengths. Almost snake like in proportions. This occurred when maintained in moderately strong water current strengths. The main disk of the polyp has an amazing rainbow colored ray pattern. The very center of the polyp is blue with a white inner mouth. Photo and text courtesy of Reeffarmers.
