The name of this coral (Toxic Spill) accurately describes how bright fluorescing green pigments appear to be swirled or spilled onto its surface. The main image above was taken under actinic T5 lighting. The corals green swirls or its green toxic spill is also visible under 20,000 K metal halide lighting. Under halides however the main body appears less purple. Polyps are darker in color. This Montipora coral has a massive and thick plating growth form.
