Description

The Venesian Acropora is a deepwater coral that has developed additional pigmentation in captivity. Branches were originally colored green along their stems with purple tips or branch ends. Polyps were fluorescent green. Would have basically appeared as a deepwater tricolor. Over time in captivity however a brilliant baby to cream blue has developed along the branch stems and along the entire corallite walls. The corallite edges and branch ends are purple to purple blue colored.
