Description

Copperband Butterflyfish are basically used to control Aiptasia anemones in a reef tank. It can be hit or miss, as some Copperbands will eat Aiptasia anemones and others will not even touch them. They can be a tough fish to keep, as often times they will not eat any food and just waste away. The Australian ones seem to do better, but still many more die than live. To ensure success, a large aquarium with lots of live rock is required. Make sure to add it first before other fish that will harass it. It will not eat if stressed and harassed.
