The Jaguar goby (Gobiopsis quinquecincta) is a small and dramatically patterned reef fish. With chin barbells and small eyes, their appearance is more primitive than the other gobies we raise. Their primary color is beige and they have black bands that vary in size and shape between each individual. They can grow to 3 inches in captivity and are content even in small aquaria. In reef aquariums they will find a small crevice to their liking and defend it from others of their own kind. They accept a wide range of foods and do not pester other reef inhabitants. Photo by ORA
