This is a hardy anthias that makes a great aquarium inhabitant when they are available. They are not easy to acquire so grab them when you see them! Besides the colorful males, another key attribute is they tend to stay in harems even in aquariums. Just like most hardy fish, they will adjust to aquarium life quickly and will eat most prepared foods. They are column feeders so be sure to offer smaller flakes and pellets.
