What do you think of this guy? He popped out of my rock the other day, and has been seen cruising all the regular hangouts on my reef ever since...
Suspect is about 1/2 inch long..

These are the predatory snails I've got in my tank. They seem to only eat young snails. I've watched them for long periods of time, and never seen them go after anything else. They're facinating to watch hunt. They find a small snail, lift themselves up as high as they can, and then pounce on the victim. I've got at least two (and I think 3 or 4) in my 65 gallon tank, and they don't seem to be affecting my snail population. I still see lots of young snails, and I've got many that have grown beyond the size that these predators will hunt.
