I just recieved a shipment of the Figi Plant Rock from Paragon and it had a bunch of Cowries. A friend of mine thought it was a Money Cowrie. Are these things safe? I have seen several articles with conflicting advice I think one said that most cowries were carnivorus while another says the money cowrie eats only diatom and film algae. So my question is if it looks like a Money Cowrie how likely is it to be one? I.E. is there a Cowrie sp. that looks just like the Money Cowrie but you can tell the difference because it eats only expensive corals?
