Well, I put some LR in my FO tank finally... pretty dull rock, it's been scrubbed TOTALLY clean, and wasn't too live looking if you ask me... BUT, I found two things of interest that hitchhiked with the rock!

Here's the first one: it's a white tube, about the diameter of a pencil lead, that has a little red tuft on the end. I think this may be what's called a "feather duster"?

Second item is some sort of sort coral (guessing); it's about the size of my pinky, and seems to reside in a small hole in the rock. It opens/closes at a pretty fast rate... it opens for a while, until one of my boisterous damsels whiz by, and it withdraws for a few moments... Here's a closed and open pic:

Yep, the first one is a featherduster. Not sure on the second, when I first glanced at your pic of it, it looked like an octopus arm! Maybe some kind of small anemone?

The second one is probably an anemone, I am guessing E. Quad, but cannot be sure until you have a shot with it fully opened showing the mouth.
