Looks like ricordia mushroom anemone to me.

Well, depends. Some find ricordia, being an anemone family, sting hard corals. But I never have that problem. In fact, I think it's a good thing it's spreading in your tank, a clear indication of healthiness of your system. You can place rubbles next to them to coerce them to spread onto other rocks, and you can take those pieces back to your LFS to exchange for store credits.

I don't think its a mushroom at all, those points are way to sharp for ricordea, but if you can give us some more information it might help....

Where is the rock from? Fiji, Tonga, FL, etc
Does this creature appear soft?
Does it change shape?

I am thinking from the one pic, that its more likely to be a type of stoney coral... possibly something in the hydnophora family. Its at least some sort of hitchhiking coral though.

it is from fiji rock. Doesn't appear to change shape...All the "parts" look roundish. The picture is just a little bigger than actual size. if you want a much larger picture of it go to http://www.doodoohead.org/huh2.jpg. It appears soft, and the current seems to move it a bit.

It looks like it would be easy to propogate. If anyone ever wants some let me know lol
