About 2 weeks after my tank was up and running, I started noticing these strands. They don't seem to have much of a base, but the strand can extend from the base atleast about 7 or so inches. They are very delicate in apperance and they have small strands that come of the original strand. They seem to be filter feeding and will retract if they catch something or something goes near them. I now have atleast 10 of these in different areas in my tank. What are they and do I need to worry, they don't seem to be causing any problems.
