Fluorscent orange looking tips.?

I was wondering if anyone might be able to give me an idea what that could be.. My apologies for not having a pic.. I do not have a camera at present.. besides they are very very small. but the have that bright orange tip. It sort of has the appearance of a twig.. with bright orange tips under Actinic light..

Also is bright pink collaline something that is normal? I have several decent size areas that are again almost fluorscent in color..
