Should I trim this Xenia back???

I got this piece of coral from a guy in Daytona . Its a montipora cap with 3-4 stalks of Xenia on it . . . when i got it the monti was bigger then the xenia but in 3 weeks it seems that the Xenia is almost completly shading the monti . . . when it grows out i think it would be an awesome piece of coral with the xenia in the middle of a huge monti plate . . . but what im wondering is will the monti grow with all that shade ? currently its about 8 inches from 72 watts of PC . 10k+Atinic . . . Let me know what you think . . . . I might just leave it for a few more weeks see how things grow/go

I would say there's an excellent chance that if left alone your xenia would eventually overgrow and completely smother your monti.
