Something ate all my xenia over the course of 2 weeks.. - Bored into it from the base and ate straight up the center of each stalk. Don't know if theres a connection but the population of these little buggers has coincidentally taken off at the same time..

They only come out at night and run for cover when the lights come on.. - They're a PITA to try and find because they camoflage into the rockwork really well.

This is probably the biggest one in the tank.. - Shell is probably close to 3/4" inch long. - You can see him spread out over a SeaTest swingarm SG "meter" in the first two shots.

Stomatella varia. Very common algae grazer. It's not what's eating your corals.

Darnit! - Wound up nuking this and another large one overnight. (Temp holding tank for rock, heater went nuts and temp is up over 90.)

Ahh well, some should have made it in on the rockwork in the other temp tank.

Thanks for the confirm Matt! :)
