I'm at a loss. My year old 75g reef is covered with something I've never seen before.
They're too small for me to get a good photo.
- 1/4" long
- dark orange body, green spots through microscope (zooxanthellae?)
- body shaped like casper the ghost - open at one end
- move around on the glass like a fast worm
- don't appear to be eating anything they shouldn't
- looks like they're eating coraline algae
- hair algae disappeared when they showed up
An algae eating worm?
Juvenile stage of one of the corals (xenia, flower pot and mushrooms have been spreading like crazy) ?
Any ideas? :?:
