Got this guy on a rock with some GSP on it. Nobody at the LFS had a clue what it was. Some sort of LPS they said. Appears to be doing good. Can anyone offer any suggestions? Thanks! :D

you mean the green spikey thing in the center? well i don't think it's an LPS ... do you see any large polyps? looks more like an unidentified SPS to me, but then again i only know a little bit about LPS and even less about SPS.

this has been a completely useless post by hwarang.

I don't know what I see. 8O It might be an SPS. Rather new to the hard coral game. It is really pretty though. I just want to point out that I did not buy it for the unidentified coral. I wanted the GSP, and Clove Polyps that were on it. :wink:

Very difficult to see from that angle. Can you take another pic?

Is that Orange M. digitata on the left side of the photo?

Ricky, I'm not sure what animal you are asking about.

I see Green Star Polyps (Briareum sp.), Hydnophora sp., and Montipora sp.
