I have a few last hitch hikers that I was never really able to identify. Please help if you can:

The last is some type of slow-growing, green macroalgae. It almost looks to me like a caterpiller cocoon. The central portion of the algae is white and it has a fuzzy, green exterior. I have a pic below.

The brown leafy macroalgae is Sargassum (ID from hitchhiker FAQ), but in the pic below, is the round curly algae a different form of the same thing (my previous assumption was yes, but since I'm posting this I thought I'd make sure).

The first pic below may be a bit hard to make out, but it is a clam/scallop/muscle of some sort. Like Veratid snails, this creture has embedded half of it's shell in the rock and is stuck on the verticle face of my live rock (Fiji, I think). I can see two filter holes in the mantle and a small foot (tongue) inside. The flesh part of it is white.

I can't make out the first pic, sorry.

3rd pic is Neomeris sp.

I did some research of those names you gave me. I think the brown algae is Padina Australis and the green is Neomeris annulata. Thanks for your help.

Can anyone give me a clue about this clam thing?

Sargassum is the topmost of the algaes in the larger picture as well. With the Padina sp.
