At first I thought it was a huge flatworm or some type of nudibranch, but when I tried to remove it I found that it had a hard shell covered by this blackish bluish flexible covering. It's about an inch long or so.

After I poked it once it revealed part of it's shell in the middle:

Any help iding this and letting me know if it's harmful or not would be greatly appreciated!
