Right in the middle of this picture is a single solitary individual sticking straight-up from the rock. It is bright green (or at least the top, healthy-looking half is) and has many small rings all the way up the "tube" and fine hairs covering the green part. The end if slightly fatter and reminds me of a q-tip.
