Advanced Reefer
hey, I have found a strange snail, he has been in for some time now and appears to be a herbivore, he hasnt bothered any of my corals and I have seen him chowing on some algae sheets I place in the tank for my yellow tang. Just cant figure out what he is. I dont have a pic yet (sorry) but will try to get one. He is small (about 1/2 to 3/4") his shell is a dark dark green almost black color. He doesnt look like a normal snail, His shell is oval and elongate like a baseball cap without the bill. He has a few barnacles on his shell. I have tried to pry him from a rock to take a look at him but I cant get him off of what he is stuck to. He feels almost like he is superglued and since he hasnt hurt anything I dont want to hurt him. Like I say, I will try to get a picture of him soon. Any Ideas?
