I'm not sure its Asterina... its awfully even all the way around and even up close I have never seen that amount of coloration.

Does this pic help identify the previous Starfish?

well that sucks. it didnt repost the pic. hopefuly you'll be able to figure out what one I was talking about.

anyhow I had a suggestion. there are alot of things pictured here that are unidentified. all of the pics are interesting, but I think it would help alot if everything was identified and givin a brief description. you know, good or bad, any special concerns, or requirements to insure its survival (assuming you want it), or if it is undesirable what action to take.

Sessile ctenophores, genus unknown. Often come living on leather corals.
