Coral Id?

When I posted the first time this coral was completly closed. Now that it was in my tank a couple of days and is opening up, hopefully someone could id it. The pom poms that are on the end of the branches are supposed to turn into purple polyps, or so I was told. Any kind of help would be great.

It's a colonial tunicate, not related to corals in any way. It's actually much more closely related to humans than it is to corals! 8O

Do some research if you plan to keep this guy long. They're very difficult and need to be fed planktonic foods. Good luck.

Funny, I saw one at my LFS a while back and almost bought one. It was bright, baby blue. Very cool.

This would be "Blue Palm Coral"
(Nephtheis fascicularis).
Dosn't have any lighting requirments, (isn't photosynthetic) but needs to be put in an area of strong water current. Feed it liquid Phytoplankton.
