Crab ID

No Pic yet, but here's a description:
Purple/Brown spotted with big claws. Hides upside down on rocks and has huge 'fans' for feeding. He came with live rock from Tampa Bay if that will help. Sorry for the awful description.

Sounds like a porcelin crab, but can't really tell without a picture. As far as I know all porcelin crabs are reef safe as they are filter feeders.

If it has filters that it waves then moves them to it's mouth then as the prev. post says "it is a porc. crab". Great hitchhiker. Andy
