Have some hitchikers here that came on some liverock that i'm not sure if I Should remove them or not. The first one is like a pinkish transparent pearlesce slug looking thing that has two holes or mouths on each end. It doesn't move or anything. And the other one is some kind of black thing that feels like velcro. Maybe a sponge?

From your description the first item sounds like it could be some species of tunicate. Does the second item move and does it have any other distinguishing features?

No it is stationary. It doesn't seem to be growing, and it feels rough, I thought that sponges were soft. Maybe someone stuck a piece of velcro on my liverock to mess with me!

It could be a coral skeleton, coralline algae or dead sponge, without a picture we're just grasping at straws. Sponges can be stiff and it's best not to handle them as the spicules can be sharp.

Lick it. Does it taste like salt water? If so I would guess that it is a ocean dwelling type of creature.

J/K lol

Sorry feeling like a smart ass today.

It tastes like rotten meat if that means anything. It doesn't seemto like it when I licked it. Maybe I should take a bite of it.
