Ok, I caught this guy creeping along the back wall, so this is the best shot I could get of it..I had to focus from the front of my tank, through the water, and I tried a bunch of times.

Description, appears fuzzy, but the limbs shoot out, and appear to be elastic in nature. The "limbs" are very flexible.

Wow, that's crazy, I haven't seen anything like that before.

It is mobile you say?

Yeah, the "wad" is like half of a pencil eraser, and the "legs" can stretch out about an inch before it retracts them. They look like strings from cooling hot glue, then it pulls them back to the "wad".

I'm thinking what Guy said though... a worm of some sort...just didn't know if it was dangerous... it's out on the glass, so I could get it if I had to.

From that picture it could be anything from Crustacea, to Pycnogonida to Annelida.

It's not a Crustacea, it's too "Rubbery", for lack of a better term

Not Pycnogonida, only because it's not defined, it looks like a tiny bowl of spagetti

Not Annelida, although I have these too, this is more of a "clump". I wish I could get better picture, but I can't focus up close from that far away. :?

Mr Mohr, I just googled the genus's and pulled up images, and I couldn't find anything simular.

A Pycnogonid is exactly what I thought of first too. But if you say it's 'rubbery' it couldn't be. Sea spiders look pretty much crustacean-esque.

There has to be a way to get a better pic. Otherwise we're just guessing.

Pictures still don't help but from your description of "bowl of spaghetti" I would say a genus and species of Cirratulidae.

Yeah, I think you may be on to something. Take a look at this. It may be this, but the "worm" like portion I can't see, maybe because the center is so small. It's color is complete white-clear.
