That is a really good picture of Hydroids. They can sting and smother corals. Pull the rock out of the water and rip em out by hand or use a stick lighter to torch them good.

Okay thanks, I knew they were not aptasia, especially since my peppermint shrimp has not touched them.

pepperment shrimp dont always eat aptasia, it still can be that. do you have more pics of differnt angles?
