OK. I've got a pretty destructive worm in here. I'm wondering if he'll be bad for the corals I'm planning to get. Right now the tank is just LR and clean-up crew. I just noticed this worm working in the live rock. Can't tell overall length but at least 1.5" , and he's about 1/8" wide, white-grey in color, four antenna at head end, and he's eating holes in rock, and then adding to the rock (somehow) by gluing rubble together. He's not afraid to come out during the day. Many (!) legs along the body. I did a Google on "bristle worm", but that doesn't seem to be the critter I've got.

Did I describe the d&mn thing well enough? And should I try to get him out of here?

Are you sure it wasn't 5 antennae?

I had one of these. Are they really that bad? It never seemed to do much in my tank. :?

No idea what it's called however...

Hmmm. The antenna aren't striped like in the photo, and yes, it could have been five. Well, if it's nothing to worry about, I'll leave well enough alone.

Thanks.

Oooh. Those don't look such good tenants. Maybe you'd be right to try and get it out. 8O
