I got a Hammer Coral and from time to time I do see it spit out something like a spider web thing then it float to the top of the tank.. Is this normal for the coral..

The coral getting bigger a week after I got it..it's a frag. Is the Coral releasing Waste or something else?

It could be expelling zooanthelle, as a reaction to the changing of light from what it is use to. Also these corals can extend tenticles to sting as well. I would not worry about it as long as it looks healthy, which it seems to. :)

Agreed about the Zooxanthellae (they also just do it , well because they can I guess from time to time LOL!) but they do not produce sweepers.

sometimes my hammer will release the same stuff when I get micro bubbles in the tank. Don't know why. But that does seem to cause this.

Yup, same here...it may be a way of cleaning itself. If I storm the tank it will do exactly what you are describing. ...not to worry though.
