fighting conch

check this out.. my mom comes back from a trip from florida with tons of sea shells... turns out one still has the guy in it... a fighting conch.

It's still alive...to boot! Can I and/or do you think I should put him in my tank? I heard there ok but I'm worried about disease etc... What da ya think? :?

firstly make sure it is without a doubt a fighting conch. Their are many types of conch that look ver simular and some grow very large. Then would it be possible to out it in quarantine for a month?

If I knew it was a Strombus alatus I would have no problem at all putting it in my tank.
