This as been growing on my Tonga live rock. It is white with many small holes :?:

If it is stoney intexture I would say it is a colony of montipora, or a colony or porites on thier way out.
IF IT IS SOFT AND SPONGE LIKE:
That is what is killing large colonies of hard and soft corals all over the globe right now my friend!
If I were you i would remove the rock it is on and place it in a bucket of salt water, then proceed to scrub it off but good!!!
It will grow completely over what ever coral it encounters.

That looks like a dead stony coral skeleton to me too, with a bit of diatom growth on it.. Are you sure it's growing?
 
Matt, I thought it was but I will keep a close look on it. I have a new tank(6 weeks) so all this is new to me. Thanks for your input.
