Ok I have posted this before but I wanted to do it again to see what people say. I hope we can figure out what this is cause in my opinion it is very cool. First off, when it is feed it slowly closes up around it, it is about 3/4 in long and the crown is about 3/4 in across. and ocasionaly it moves around the tank, but not very much. Let me hear ya'lls opinions. Also in all your opinions what is the best supplement for live rock and feather dusters.

Any one of numerous anemone species, all of which are almost impossible to identify by "looks" alone. I would be concerned with it becoming a pest if it starts to multiply rapidly as well as getting into stinging wars with corals that can not get out of the way when it wanders around.

Looks like a palythoa ("button polyp") to me.. - Keep feeding them and you'll have more than you ever wanted. ;)

Tube anenome? Not sure what kind. Palys do not move so that you can see them if at all.

Mine did... - Well, 'till I changed the PH so it wouldn't blow them around... ;)

Seriously though, the polyps in the pics don't appear to have an anemones "foot." It looks like its coming up out of the sand, not holding onto it.

Redneckyankee.. - Can you get a pic of the oral disc at all?
