looks like a marble

I have what appears to be a dark bluish metalic marble fixed to a rock. I noticed it abotu a month ago and it has doubled in size .. it is nearly an inch in diameter.

any ideas?

yea i bet its bubble algea.. if it is dont pop it.. just reach in and break it off of the rocks and throw it out

You know, I've tried to pull bubble algae out without popping it and i can never do it. It's always too stuck to the rock and I end up popping it and freak out!
