Got a new rock and now see a large dark purple anemone = not majano for sure. Same shape as aiptasia but opaque - not translucent (or "glass like") - can't get a good photo since it is blocked. Can this be aiptasia if it's dark purple and not clear? thanks

Absolutely. I don't know how they got the name glass anemone. The healthy ones in light are usually opaque, a deep brown or purple. They will reproduce in low or no light as well, when they're clear.
