vermetid tube snails/worms!!

so i bought a variety rock of zoo's pretty big, so i bring it home, and notice about 10 tentacles in different spots extending from tubes. it didnt appear to be stinging the polyps, so i called my trusted lfs, and they told me it was a vermetid worm which is a filter feeded and isnt bad nor harmful to my coral or my tank. has ne1 had these in their tanks? and should i be concerned and ready to take action and if sooo how? thankx
