Unknown Creature on Star Polyps

Will appreciate it very much if someone can help me to identify the creature in the attached photo. Is it harmful to the star polyps? I have seen it on the star polyps for serveral days. I can't see the entire creature as it is under the polyps. But I have see 5 of such legs as indicated by the arrow.

It looks like a mini brittle star to me. A harmless detritivore.
