hi,
a few days ago aquired a couple of frags and i now have noticed very small yellow nudibranches on/around the polyps colonys. after a bit of research i've only been able to narrow it to an likly sub-order, being aeolidna or simular. i had no clue of the diversity of species and color with sea slugs.

what are some general rules of thumb to keying nudibranchs that may cuase problems with corals?

the ones i have found have a light purple mantle and rinophores. the cerata along the sides are yellow. very broad but any suggestions?

thanks,
david

:welcome:

Post a picture if you can... there are those who will ID it for ya. :P

i dont own a camera or have access to one worth using. i realize that chances of a correct identification is very slim. is there a way to tell if they might cuase problems w/ corals? well other than observing them and corals and following thier "chomp trail".

yeah i've been looking there and nudi forums. i'll just keep a close watch on thier habits. i've noticed 4 so far and concidering thier size is close to a large grain of rice; i should be able handle any problems.
