I'm no expert. It could be something else. I am just basing it on my own experiance. I had a seperate oxtagon tank that I created for a quarantine tank, but I neglected it, and it starting growing those red bubbles. I thought they were cool and I got alot of cool vids from them, but then the tank exploded with red cyanobacteria, which I then infected my reef tank inadvertantly. You can certainly get a second opinion, from some of the many experts that browse these pages. But I would pick up some red slime remover from UltraLife reef products just in case. It's a yellow powder that is safe for reef tanks, but kills red slime in days!
