I have some snails that are called bumble bee snails that are black with white stripes on them. IMO leave it in unless you notice it in the coral patch eating. BTW most coral eaters I have had experience with were more of the sundial veriety and they did not resemble the one in your pic.

I often find these cruising around my sump... no idea what they consume or what species they are. They don't seem to harm anything.

really? hmm..we put 3 in the 30 cube. 8O
i haven't seen them since. and their shell kinda rides sideways as they travel, like nassarius snails, not sticking upwards like the one herp's took a pic of...unless i am not seeing it right. when i re-scaped the tank recently, i saw them (bumblebee) way inside the holes in the rock. what the heck is in there for them to eat? or are they emerging at night when the lights are off?
