I have half a dozen of these against the glass of the tank - Each is in a tube that is between 1/4 and 1 inch long and 1/8 inch wide - They can of look like translucent shrimps with black on their back - On the picture below, I believe that the head and claws are toward the left on the picture below - So, what is it and what should I do?
(new tank with aquacultured florida live rock and a lawnmower blenny)

You could make shimp salad, shrimp pasta linguine, popcorn shrimp, shrimp cocktails, etc.

Just kiddin.

Let them be and see what happens...or put them in a seperate tank?

They almost look like little mantis shrimp to me, I'd put them elsewhere if you want to avoid mantis shrimp.

Those are full grown amphipods. there are many species that make tubes to live in; I think it's cool you have them against the glass & can watch them. They're harmless detritus feeders & potential fish/coral food.
