These came with my rock...duh.

The first pic shows a few little polyps(?) clustered together. They seem to be extending out towards the light. They are about 2mm diameter.

The second pic shows what I've tentatively id'ed as some sort of foraminiferan. They are popping up all over my rock are sort of hairlike, branching and seem to like slower currents and darker areas. This is one of the largest ones I've found. Width? 1" Height? 1.25"

Anybody see these before? Good? Bad? Ugly...nah.

They do look like foraminiferans which are beneficial. I would guess some sort of zoanthids for the other although difficult to see in this picture.
