The anemone that strikes fear in the hearts of reefers everywhere?

It's on a large plug leftover from a frag I purchased. It's been in my tank about a week. Note the other small polyps.

Should I remove these guys immediately?

Aptasia on the left - I can't really make out the bottom right, might be algae.

Thanks.

I think I see tentacles on some of the other polyps so I'll assume they are as well. Guess I should trash the whole plug or should I remove the anemones as I identify the polyps?

As I said, the plug has only been in a little over a week and it's most likely what they rode in on. Should I assume the tank is contaminated by now? It's been up and running for about 7 weeks.

I can't make out the polyps on the upper right - I guess they could be either. Can you get a better pic?

I would definitely remove the anemone by any of the common methods - kalk paste, burning, epoxy, etc...

This is a better shot. I pulled the piece out. The bugger was superglued after this pic was taken. A snail came along to witness the execution.

The other polyps look different than the anemone so they're probably ok? I don't see any tentacles on them. They are closed but I'll also keep an eye on them when they open.

Looks like aiptasia to me. The polyps look like some kind of common palythoa - harmless except they can overtake some other corals and come in a whopping variety of brown, brown, brown or green and brown usually.
