I wouldn't ask someone from Europe or the Indo-Pacific unless that person had studied the particular genus or family. So in this case, knowing Shane's field of study, I trust him more than the others even though they're all good.
Anyway, I'd be more worried about the little critter being eaten by something else in the general tank than the reverse! With that soft shell she doesn't have much protection. With luck she'll find a nice hole to live in.
