This was posted on our local forum and I cannot seem to figure out what it is. It superficially resembles a cleaner wrasse, but has a different head shape and pattern. Next, I thought about some type of fang blenny, but doesn't resemble any of the pictures I found of them. The head shape looks a little like a cigar wrasse, but the color as well as other patterns look different. Any ideas?

Looks like something in the Pseudojuloodes ? genus to me - a.k.a. pencil wrasse, perhaps?

It's a Malacanthus sp. They're related to tilefish (genus Haplolatilus). I think the common name is "Blanquito" or something? Hold on and I'll get you a species.
