Are Mr. Clean Magic Eraser pads reef safe?

Is it true that these malamine pads are safe to use on the INSIDE glass of our tanks?

+1, been using them for years on my acrylic tank, they are great. I get a box of 10 at Sam's clun for $7.

I find it both amazing AND hard as heck to believe that they are safe, not doubting anyone on here but they seemed like one of the last things I'd ever feel safe trying in my tank.

They don't last long, I get a month out of one in my tank. U guys must have went thru a lot in a commercial setting.

They are reef safe in the tank and mbg your only getting a month out of one? dude thats awsome I use one in the house and dont get an hour. A month on on is awsome and I get like 4 of them for less than 4 bucks in Walmart. I very happy no risk in scratching your glass and they last up to a month. That sounds like a win win to me.

yeah we use to fight with the maintenance guys for them and even went as far as hiding them from those guys lol

aren't they just a foam pad with borax? i don't know jack about borax, but a quick google makes me a bit wary about using it in a tank.

There is no borax in it. Its a completely inert substance. Why do people keep doubting its use when so many people have stated they have used it for years with zero issues??

There may be a type that has a cleaning substance, but that is why we say to use the original product with no additives.
