brs reactor and maxijet 1200

I had purchased a BR'S reactor for carbon with a maxi jet 1200 which they had recommended.They say the use the Italian made maxi jet which I thought I was getting but I got the one made in china. Anyway i have the reactor mounted 2 1/2 feet from sump and the head pressure I think i make the maxi jet work harder and thats why i am getting vibration and that impeller noise. I checked the impeller and it is fine. Anyone know of a power head that will work with some head pressure and not make noise?
