Lost a few Master Scolys that were doing extremely well. They deteriorated within 3 days. As I removed them I saw this worm. On closer inspection , I found about 5 living in the sand right under the Scolys. Does anyone know what these are and could they have attacked and killed my favorite corals ???

Loos like a bristle worm. Could be a fire worm (ive never figured out wjat exactly a fire worm is). Bristle is Reef safe (for the most part, but def are at the size you have), apparently fire worms are not reef safe.
