Dosing Pump Help... :)

So I need to get a Dosing pump and I found this one but has anyone tried it or have it( I added the link below)? I was also thinking about just getting 2 RBS dosing pumps. Please let me know what your thoughts are.

I use two BRS dosing pumps and have them hooked up to my reefkeeper. Been working ok for a year now.

is $ 90 + timers, so is more than $ 300, u can buy something nicer w/that money, Home Depot ,Lowers timers still fall. I think A.V. they got some nice.

I bought a bubble magnus for 300, It has worked for me only prob I have if power goes out it gets like stuck and has to be rebooted. Turns out to be an expensive hobby lol

Got a Aquatred doser and I love it. Got from Reefoman on here, he is a distributor for the company. The doser comes with 2 year warranty and the best thing is that he is a local guy.

when it comes to allowing 'things' to put 'chemicals' into your tank, you do get what you pay for. I have this doser from salty supply. it was rated a tad better than bubble m, and was slightly less expensive. It works flawlessly

Sorry but who is Kamoar? You got a chinese knock off. You can get the marine magic which at least is a well know chinese knock off. From what I've read and seen first hand you can get a BM a knock off or a medical grade doser or BRS/Drew's doser. There really is no cheap way to go on this front.

Do you have the marine magic? If so how long have you had it?

The problem for me with the BM or Marine Magic was that I would have no control via my reef angel. Therefore I opted with the BRS and could not be happier.

Yeah. Im on the fence with BRS dosing pumps for that reason. I have a APEX and Like that I can hook them up too it.

If you have the apex then by all means leverage what you invested in imo. Just make sure you understand the osc syntax and test/doublecheck to make sure your good to go...

Every day there are new products/companies/technology. It's hard to make decisions of this magnitude with so much 'data' and less 'information'. I'm very happy with the Kamoer doser - and as you can see, in the Chinese 'knock off' categories, some reviews were very positive.

I am just suggesting that product choice and new/improved technology is a moving target.

Agree with everything you said. I did google before I posted to see who kamoer was and came to the same conclusion. The statement was made with some degree of sarcasm. I am a fan of a lot of the chinese made equipment as they can be just as good if not better as others. As I said the only reason I'm not running a marine magic is because i wanted to be able to control from my controller. And my point in that original statement was no matter which way you go, there's really no cheap way to go and overall dosing is not something we should be cheaping out on.
