Phosban woes...

So... I was wondering what all of the sediment in my tank was. Under rock, on the sand... In the filter sock. Long story short, I went to change out the Phosban reactor media and add some carbon and I discovered that all of the media that was in the reactor was gone.

Trying to figure out what to do... Should I pull out all of the rock and suction out all of the garbage? Should I increase flow and let the filter socks do their job?

Decisions... Decisions... How bad is this stuff to the tank?
