Automated PH Doser

Hi

I was wondering if any of you have suggestions for automated PH Dosing Systems

Ive seem controllers and dosers but I dont know which ones work well together or would be good as an affordable package.

Was hoping to spend under $600...but the cheaper (while not going to low quality) the better

ive seen aquarium controllers that have all these settings for controlling ph, temperature etc wondering if any reefers use them

and ive seen others that use ph up/down and not co2

ph controllers are used in conjunction with calcium reactors to control the ph inside of the reactor. they turn on a solenoid unit to release CO2 until the predetermined ph is reached.

Not many people use the tank PH function to rapidly control PH in a tank. It is more for long term monitoring of the PH fluctuation and take a longer term solution.

If you want, you can use it to add kalk water and boost your PH, turn off CO2 in a CaRx if the low PH is chronically low to a point of concern.

$600 can get you started with the nice Apex package, you can figure out what's going on with your PH from there.

Commercial Ph up and down additives are not a long term solution and you can better address PH issue with other means. First you need to figure out what's your PH and what maybe causing it.
