My ORP has swings of increasing nature. Starts out in the 260's and steadily inc's into the 380's. Thats when i do a water change.

My question is should I keep it stable within a certain parameter with say Ozone injection (which i do not have but may buy if important?)

Is the injection of Ozone masking an oxidation problem or is the flux a normal process in the tank?

Started a new 220G with SPS Dominated species

the higher the better but not over 400. when you do a water change your cleaning your water up a bit. I would say get a better skimmer or skim a little more wet.

Orp values normally go up and down especially after feedings or pro-longed water changes. do not get all hyped up about the #'s but use it as an indicator as when to do a water change.

mine never goes over 340 and usually bottoms out around 280 between water changes. if you are going sps i would be more concerned with phos and nitrate.
